This project is very easy to make and might be a fun craft project for kids to help with. I started with a 4" by 6" sheet of cardstock.
I decorated the cardstock using a stamp from Stampin' Up's Priceless set and pind pearl ink. VesaMark ink would work well for this step also.
Add adhesive to one end of the 4" side of the cardstock. I used Terrifcally Tacky tape and recommend it or another very strong adhesive for this project.
Next, roll the paper to form a tube, using the adhesive tape to secure. Add more tape to the opening of one side.
Squeeze the opening to close the end.
For a more finished look, crimp the taped end.
Fill with candy or small toys. Next add tape to the open end and close up like before, only close it in the opposite direction than before. Crimp this end also.
Make a small tag as an additional embellishment. I made this using the heart stamp from Stampin' Up's Priceless set and added a grommet.
I attached the tag with silver thread and added a red organdy ribbon.
For a slightly larger version, you can try a 5" by 6" sheet of cardstock. These can also be made in Christmas themes and used as stocking stuffers and in a Halloween theme and passed out to Trick or Treaters.
