Sewing a Christmas Card Tutorial

Put your craft adhesives away and create this fun Christmas card using your sewing machine.

1. Start with a small piece of card stock, just smaller than you would like the size of your finished card to be.

2. Cut three small triangles from green card stock.

3. Sew the triangles to the red card stock, using a straight machine stitch.

4. On the back side, pull the loose thread until a small loop comes through.

5. Pull the new loop until the loose thread from the front comes all the way through.

6. Do this for each of the green "trees" so that all the loose threads are on the back.

7. Trim the threads and tape down.

8. Mount the the paper on a blank card and add lettering or stamp as desired.

Here is a variation on this technique.
